2012 Spring Lacrosse
Registration is now open!
Boy's
1st & 2nd Grade - $125 per
player. All equipment is provided by ASA.
3rd & 4th Grade (Competitive Play) - $185 per
player.
We have added another team, so spots are now available.
5th & 6th Grade (Competitive Play) - $195 per
player.

Middle School (7th & 8th Grade) - $235 per player.

You will be notified if a spot opens. ***
Note: US Lacrosse membership is no longer required.
You must create a User Profile and login before you can fill out a Lacrosse Registration.
Once a User Profile has been created and you are logged in, you can enter registrations
and pay on-line.
Family Discounts: There are no family discounts for lacrosse.
Rental Equipment: If you don't have protective equipment (helmet, chest
protector, gloves, and elbow pads), they can be rented for $75 for the season.
This can be done during the registration process.

Lacrosse Registration will close when teams are full. You will be notified
if you have been placed on a waiting list.
All Refunds will be given less a $25 admin fee.
No Refunds for Middle School Teams after Jan. 1, 2012.
No Refund for other team after Feb. 1, 2012.
Practice for the Middle School teams start the 2nd week of February.
All other teams will start the 1st Saturday in March.
A
physical within the past 18 months is required.

Registrations are not accepted unless the
registration fee is paid.
Fund Raising: All players are required to participate in
fundraising activities as needed. Failure to participate may cause separation
from the program.
Registration Fee for 2012 Spring Lacrosse:
- $125 for 1st & 2nd Grade Boy's
- $185 for 3rd - 4th Grade Boy's
- $195 for 5th - 6th Grade Boy's (non Middle School Teams)
- $235 for 7th & 8th Grade Boy's Middle School Division
- All registrations received after January 1st will be charged a $25 late fee.
- Full refunds minus $25 administration fee for each registration will be given
until January 1st for Middle School Teams.

INFORMATION AND REGITRATION
The mission of ASA
Lacrosse and Cougar Select is to provide an opportunity and a venue for those
individuals having the talent and desire to play and practice lacrosse at a
higher level. Sportsmanship, competition and outstanding coaching will be the
cornerstone of the program. It will focus on the individual player and team
development, strive to enhance the quality of lacrosse in North Carolina and
showcase that quality to the community at large. Cougar Select enters its 4th
year and has become not only a regional powerhouse but has become recognized on
the National scale.
2012 Cougar Select Teams,
Age Definitions. Kindly note that in 2012 Cougar Select
will use the USLacrosse recently established age guidelines:

U-15 Gold (current HS Team), Born on or after 9/1/1996 and
currently in high school (Birthdays between September 1, 1996 and August 31,
1998)

U-15 Black (rising freshmen team), Born on or after 9/1/1996
and currently in middle school (Birthdays between September 1, 1996 and August
31, 1998)

U-13 Premier, Born on or after 9/1/1998 (Birthdays between
September 1, 1998 and August 31, 2000)

U-13 White, Born on or after 9/1/1998 (Birthdays between
September 1, 1998 and August 31, 2000) (Designed for developing players or U12)

U-11 Elite, Born on or after 9/1/2000 (Birthdays between

High School Elite Team - 10:00am - 12:30pm (This team is no longer invite only. Any interested
players should register and attend tryouts.)
Summer 2012 Information:
Registration Fee has not been finalized at this time. As we have always done,
Cougar Select is designed to be as affordable as possible. When compared to
similar quality programs we are consistently much more affordable. Once
Tournaments are selected we will have the final registration fee. This will be
posted before tryouts.
PRACTICE: Team Practices start are scheduled to start
no later then Sunday, May 6, 2012; team will practice 3 days a week leading up
to tournament play.
GEAR: Cougar Select Custom Game Reversible, with
player’s name, game shorts, practice reversible, custom shooting shirt, team
t-shirt, custom helmet decals.
SUMMER TRAINING & TOURNAMENTS: All tournament entry
fees, minimum of 21 scheduled summer team practices. Minimum of 3 tournaments.
DIXIE TOP 150 PREMIER SHOWCASE CAMP: Boys selected to
play on the U15 Gold team are automatically selected to participate in the Dixie
Top 150 Showcase camp. The South's premier college recruiting camp.
ADMINISTRATION: coaches stipend, coaches travel
expenses; Professional coaching at all practices and events; Practice facility
use fees; Supplemental player insurance that covers the athlete when we
practice, scrimmage or play. The opportunity to play at regional and national
tournaments against top notch competition; Administration and web site upkeep.
Professional Travel Agent to assist you with all your travel needs.
NEW PLAYERS: The fees do not include players travel
to/from events, players meals, players lodging. It will be the parent’s
responsibility to provide transportation to/from events, players meals, and
arranging for your families lodging accommodations at team hotels.
FALL OPTIONS, Players that participate with Cougar
Select have the first opportunity to continue with our fall select program.
